Spring Events & Community Gatherings at Churchill’s Fine Teas
Spring is one of our favorite seasons at Churchill’s, allowing us to share the love of tea far beyond our shop walls. From April through June, you’ll find us participating in local events, festivals, and gatherings across Greater Cincinnati as we continue deepening our connection with the vibrant community we are honored to serve. Whether at the Jane Austen Festival, Steeped in Love Tea Party at the Cincinnati Art Museum, Passport to South Asia at the Cincinnati Public Library, or private team-building events hosted for businesses and nonprofit organizations, spring is a season of fellowship, celebration, and shared cups of tea.
Among these gatherings, we are especially delighted to return as the main sponsor of the Jane Austen Festival. There, we will proudly debut our 2026 Jane Austen Jubilee Tea Collection, a newly curated selection of teas inspired by the cherished characters and themes of Austen’s novels, alongside our signature tribute blend, Jane’s Strawberry Promenade Black Tea. As a brilliant voice at the close of the Age of Enlightenment, her novels championed wit, discernment, and the quiet independence of women—reflecting the spirited resolve she lived by.
For history lovers, the festival will also mark the exclusive first release of our newest creation: The Founders’ Liberty Tea Collection – 1773. In honor of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, this collection commemorates the teas of the Boston Tea Party and the Liberty blends that followed—celebrating an era shaped by bold ideas, brave hearts, and the enduring pursuit of freedom. Fittingly, Jane Austen herself was born less than seven months before the birth of the United States, linking these two remarkable histories in one unforgettable season.

Spring Store Hours, Seasonal Updates & Tea Shop Guest Information
As spring fills Cincinnati, Churchill’s has entered our Garden & Market Season Hours—our regular schedule for the most vibrant months of the year. As a gentle reminder, our shop hours shift three times throughout the year to follow the rhythm of the seasons, helping us serve you when the shops are at their liveliest while giving our team time to thoughtfully prepare tea, restock the shelves, and care for the details that make each visit special. Simply remember: Spring to Mid-November is our Garden & Market Season.
With warmer days bringing more beloved four-legged friends along for outings, we kindly remind guests that although we share in the affection for our canine companions, our tea shops must comply with Ohio Department of Health regulations prohibiting pets inside food service establishments. For that reason, only trained service animals may enter the shop. We are always happy to bring out a bowl of water for your pup while you visit, and for added convenience, curbside pickup is also available if you’d prefer to shop with your dog by your side. Just place your pickup order and call us when you arrive.
Tea Events, Tea Classes & Historic Celebrations in Cincinnati
Time flies! It is almost a year since the grand opening of our Madisonville location on June 7th, 2025! Join us on the same day this year as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of our Madisonville location and begin honoring the 250th anniversary of American Independence with a special Tea & Tale event. This gathering is both a reflection on Churchill’s own journey of finding community in Madisonville and a look back to 1773, when tea became part of a moment that changed history forever. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of tea, storytelling, and shared celebration.
